The Houseguards service is unique. Rather than offer a traditional patrolling guard, who might only visit your property a few times during the shift, Houseguards provide an on-site presence in the form of an SIA licensed House Guard. The House Guard will live in self-contained accommodation, usually a caravan or motorhome, within the grounds of the property, but not normally inside the property itself unless specifically instructed to do so.

The Houseguards service has proved to be extremely effective. The constant, visible on-site presence provides a higher level of security against unwanted visitors, thereby reducing the risk of damage, burglary or illegal occupation that so many vacant properties fall prey to.

The House Guard on site may be a single person or it could be a couple; however all are SIA licensed, and trained to respond to any situation that might arise on site. The House Guard may, by prior arrangement, carry out additional duties on site, whether it is, for example, grass cutting, checking heating or security systems for correct function, or minor maintenance tasks.

The House Guard will hold keys for the property at all times, but will only enter the property if necessary, or if is part of their security brief to do so. This gives you the peace of mind that should any situation arise, the response will be immediate. The House Guard is equipped to communicate speedily with the 24 hour Control Centre or emergency services (if required).
